What is the objectively shittiest car you have ever owned and subjectively loved?

My spirit, similar to the one pictured, was a fantastic car through hs and college... Once you rebuilt the a604

I've owned plenty of shitheaps:

1985 Camaro V6
1987 Cavalier 2.0
1996 200SX
1997 Jetta 2.0
1991 Shadow TurboVert
1996 Metro LSi
1997 850 GL

And probably many others I couldn't recall. All of them (save the Volvo) I could find merits for

No pix but it was a silver grey olds delta 88 with a 307. Perfect mechanically, interior, and body. Also ran over 100mph on a daily basis. Front and rear couches for seats. I had it during my Air Force days and would run the tires down to a blowout before replacing on an individual basis with another used tire.

I still have an active craigslist alert for "Spirit R/T". I want to love one.

1996 VW Cabrio. The roof had a giant hole in it (and loads of small ones), the windscreen was cracked nearly all the way across, the interior was trashed and mouldy, it was impossibly slow and had countless electrical issues. Its only redeeming features were that we got it for free, and it was so ruined already that there wasn't any point in trying to keep it nice.

Still, despite all that, I couldn't bring myself to hate it. In fact, it had a certain don't-give-a-shit charm about it that I rather enjoyed. Incongruously, it was nearly unbeatable in the snow, and was actually pretty entertaining to drive, despite its significant shortcomings. In actual fact, I still can't quite bear to part with it.

I've owned something like a dozen cars. One of them a 1991 Dodge Spirit. It was awful and died the usual death by headgasket failure at 80k miles. Only time it didn't overheat was on the drive to the scrapyard.

Now the oft derided 1987 Chevy Celebrity station wagon I owned I absolutely loved.

Found on GIS. Mine was gun metal grey with a chrome grille. Not sure why but I loved how it looked, still kind of do, like the GNX had a younger brother with downs, and buck teeth.

Only LSi because I had the 4-pot. Manual brakes, manual steering, manual everything else,

Ahh. The sedans (what i had) were a bit different. All sedans had 4-pots, but the Lsi got 10hp more along with body colored bumpers.
